Telesat Canada announces the redemption price on its 8.20% Series 2001 Notes due November 8, 2008

- Telesat Canada announced today that the redemption price payable upon tender of its 8.20% 2001 Series Notes, called for redemption on November 30, 2007 is $103.467 per $100.00 of principal value plus interest accrued from November 8, 2007 to the redemption date.
